So… if Congress passes legislation mandating support for early voting… is it really still "early" voting? Shouldn’t it just be "voting?" I mean, really?
Read online that with so many states relaxing rules on absentee ballots, a lot of democrats were able to vote by mail or early, and with the potential for a democratic government here shortly, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the legislation ensuring that people can continue doing what they’re doing. Why not just make voting a week long thing, though? Rather than mail-in ballots, which still leave a lot of room for fraud and such?
Oh well… it’s politics. It doesn’t have to make sense.
