I saw a snowflake today… So what, right? It’s just a snowflake… Well… for all you people back in the south, the snow flakes I’m used to seeing there are just little specks of white, and if you strain your eyes while using a microscope, you can sometimes see some of the neat snowflake patterns that you used to try to make back in kindegarden by folding up squares of paper and cutting out little triangles… And if you happen to see big snowflakes in the south, they are nothing more than a bunch of those little while spots that are all clumped up together. Today, however, there was a light snow flurry outside as I walked to the bus, and I looked down at my coat sleeve, and saw a dozen or so HUGE snowflakes. Not groups of snowflakes, but individual snowflakes in all their glory with their unique crystal patterns and everything, and I thought to myself, “so this is what a snowflake is supposed to look like.” It was interesting…
