I am equally as pissed at microsoft for designing a program that provides outside websites with the ability to edit your registry. WTF??? I have spent the last two weeks trying to completely get rid of this program. It’s a pain in the @$$! It hijacks your webbrowser so that you always are redirected to its website, and everytime you visit the website, it adds another line to your registry, or reinstalls itself in a different form. I have deleted no less than 20 files that were all versions of this program. They all have names like explore.exe and system32.exe, so you don’t think they’re malignant programs until its too late. They also take over your favorites in web browsers and rewrite their locations so that they point back to the stupid website. It also rewrites notepad so that when you run notepad, it starts all over again. I found a program called cwshredder that gets rid of the program, but it only kills the ones that are currently active… To get rid of this thing means manually rewriting half of your registry file… a casual computer use would do better to buy a new computer.

If anyone knows of a microsoft patch for this thing, let me know. (Why the crap would internet explorer need to have write access to your registry in the first place???)
