well what do you know… after a mere two weeks I finally get to blog. it’s been one thing or another… I’ve been trying for the past three-four days, but blogger has been updating my blog to the new, improved, no-down-time blog… and to celebrate the new no-down-time blog, they gave me 4 days of down time. figures. anyway… now I don’t feel like writing that much.

so we went to disney world and universal studios and islands of adventure. what a trip. I had a lot of fun and I’m really glad I got to take my siblings. realized chelsea is an adrenaline junkie. she rode every roller coaster and ride we came across… even one I didn’t ride. not to mention several she rode more than once. everyone had something that they liked, though. Caleb liked magic kingdom. chelsea, brian, and I liked islands of adventure, and deedee liked everything (right, deedee?) :)

I have to say if you ever go to Orlando and not sure where you want to go, definately go to Islands of Adventure. wow… disney world’s the magic kingdom is a true themed park. it has it’s different worlds that are all decorated differently and it’s all pretty cool… but it doesn’t stand up to islands of adventure. 5 islands, each with it’s own theme, and everything about them is different from one to the other. You cross a bridge to go from one island to the next, and I’m serious when I say that halfway across the bridge the background music changes. Kudos to the sound techs who set that up. the islands are incredibly detailed. the plant life changes for each theme (although I’m confused by the single honey suckle plant hidden in jurassic park). the ground changes. the buildings change… everything changes. it’s great. even the fences in the dr. suess island are all crooked and warped… the detail the put into every island just makes it a great place. definately my favorite of the places we visited.

in other news… if anyone happens to know anyone who needs a roommate and wants to live in po’dunk, ms, lemme know… I have a suspicion that I’m not going to have a roommate when I get there. suck.
