sorry… been busy.

Watched a couple of movies…. X2 twice and the princess bride. I have to say watching the princess bride in a theater was quite a treat. Almost like going to a cult classic or something. There were times where the entire theater was quoting the movie… was kinda cool.

X2… wow… just wow… gooooood movie. Much better than the first, and it’s even better the second time you watch it. First, let me say that Nightcrawler has now become my all time favorite x-man… he just kicks butt. also, there are a lot more x-men in the movie than you might imagine. For example, did anyone else catch Beast? He’s there. mentioned by name as Dr. Hank McCoy and it’s even written on the screen when he’s there. Hard to miss, but I bet you did miss him, didn’t you? there’s a little debate about Gambit. His name is on screen, and the encounter with him was apparently one of the cut scenes, but Richard thinks that he’s working for Stryker. Two reasons… one, his name appears on the computer of strykers, and two, and this is where the debate is coming from… when they raid the school, and rogue, pyro, and iceman are standing in the hall and the window gets blown out, richard thinks that one of the guys just touched it and it exploded… well, that would be Gambit’s power, wouldn’t it? Me personally? I dunno… have to watch it one more time to find out… that or wait for the DVD with the extra cut scenes…

Welp, wrapping up my big campaign here tomorrow. Not sure if I’ll get a chance to play in Odaroloc any more, so it’s kind of a big closing for me, too… This world has become my own, and there’s so much history and detail in it now… Three campaigns spanning 6 years in game creates a LOT of NPCs, events, people, places, everything… I have maps of topography, political boundaries, populations… :;sigh:: it’s a good world… guess we’ll see how it goes…

now I have to pack… should be home around 5am friday morning… later
