Well wouldn’t you know it, my boss showed up for about two minutes yesterday, and in that two minutes, he gave me the go ahead for the next week’s worth of work. Basically, take the schedule I have and go show it to the construction secretaries in the field to see what they have to say about it (since they’re the only ones who really know what’s going on anyways). So I made a few phone calls and setup my first field interview for yesterday “anytime after 2″. Ya wanna know what’s fun about working in the field? The fact that I don’t have someone staring into my right ear. You know what that means? It means that I left at 1:20… just enough time to eat a 30 minute lunch and make it to the trailer off church road at 2. So I made it there around 2:30-2:45, and yet I only recorded a 30 minute lunch… hmmmm… where does the time go? Well, in this particular instance, I was NOT eating lunch… The fact that I was watching the end of “Dirty Dancing” has very little importance in the grand scheme of things.

I really need to work in the field more often.
